Ring Communications aims to disseminate cutting-edge engineering research from the Faculty and Graduate School of Engineering to audiences in Japan and abroad, with the goal of promoting scholarly citation, international and domestic research collaboration, and industry–academia partnerships.
Each issue features four main research stories, as well as short introductions to selected faculty publications and ongoing research projects. The journal will be published twice a year and is available in English and Japanese.
Ring Communications is a research-focused spinoff of EngineerRing newsletter, launched as part of a broader strategy to tailor communication for diverse audiences. EngineerRing will be renewed as ENGINEERING, an annual publication (online and in print) that highlights student voices for junior and senior high school students and first-year undergraduates.
Additionally, to the online release of Ring Communications, an HTML email newsletter is distributed.
